S.S. Keno Sternwheel Paddle Steamer
A winter day in Dawson City, Front Street. This image shows the Sternwheel Paddle Steamer S.S. Keno with the Moosehide Slide in the background. The towboat S.S. KENO, which transported lead, cinc and silver ore between Stewart City and Mayo Landing in the 1920s, has been preserved and is now part of a museum exhibit about the mining history of the Yukon Territory. The S.S. Keno was the last steamboat on the Yukon River and is now on Dawson City's waterfront and open to public during the summer season. Note: Watermark will not appear on actual print.
